Leah Lee has been a member of Ancestry since 2005 but had a passion for genealogy since 1997, Leah would help people to build their trees and had a niche for it. she started as a volunteer an indexer for FamilySearch.Org and later for Ancestry.Com over 20 years ago. Ancestry began selling DNA kits she was gifted with the natural ability to read the DNA matches and help others. with over hundreds of reunions to date some even making local news.

Nikkie Maraman

I’ve been a search angel for well over 10 years. I started the old fashion way, paper and pencil. As DNA became the norm I redirected my skills and now focus on DNA and how people related to each other. I’ve solved likely hundreds, but I have also failed. Sometimes I cannot give a parent(s) name, but can tell you who your most recent common ancestor was (MRCA). My background is law and legal documents with a focus on research. I do require an ancestry test and a phone interview. Happy to help, however I only search for Birth Parents and always know there must be DNA matches with good trees to identify a birth parent.

Hello! My name is Tracy, I live in Upstate NY and I have been doing genealogy since I was in high school. I started doing genetic genealogy in 2016 when my best friend took an Ancestry DNA test to find her biological parents. I found them both using her match results and ever since have been -as my husband so eloquently calls me- a complete DNA nerd. [🙂] Since then I have found birth parents/family for over 75 people. At this point most of my searching subscriptions are US based so anything out of the country is usually quite difficult. I also find that Ancestry DNA tests are by far the most ‘search angel friendly’ DNA tests if you are having someone else help with your search. If I can be of help just let me know!

Most often people have issues they cannot discuss with family members or friends; and, they are looking for someone impartial to help them through certain situations. I want to help you to deal with your emotional responses to those issues. I am not a licensed psychologist or therapist; however, I do have six years of psychological education and have three degrees from an accredited university.
